Data protection declaration

Protection of your personal data in the collection, processing and use on the occasion of your visit to our homepage is an important matter for us. Below, we would like to inform you about the fact that and how personal data from you are inquired, electronically stored and processed by us.

Personal data

Personal data are information on your person. This includes, for example, statements such as name, address, telephone number and e-mail address, but also data such as your location, your IP address or bank data. For the use of our internet site, it is not necessary for you to have to disclose personal data. However, in certain cases, we need your name and your address as well as further information so that we can provide the required information.
This in particular applies to dispatch of information material or replying to individual questions. When a statement of personal data is necessary, we inform you accordingly. Over and above this, we only store and process data which you voluntarily or automatically provide to us.

Processing of your IP address by the web servers

For technical reasons, services on the internet can only be used if you disclose your IP address. This is processed by web servers which supply these internet sites. Processing of the supply of our websites is not done anonymised. Apart from this processing by the web servers, we exclusively use or store your IP address in an anonymised form.

Purpose of the personal data

We use the personal data provided by you on the contact form in order to reply to your inquiries or to procure access for you to certain information or offers requested by you.
The data collected within the framework of user tracking (see “Piwik” section) are used to optimise our internet appearance. The data recorded for this purpose are anonymous and are archived permanently.

Purpose-bound use

We will only collect, process and use the personal data provided online by you for the purposes notified to you in each case. Forwarding of your personal data to third parties does not take place without your necessary prior consent.
Collection of personal data and transmitting them to state institutions and authorities authorised to obtain information are only done within the framework of the relevant acts or to the extent that we are obliged to do by a judicial decision. Our employees and the service companies commissioned by us are obliged to non-disclosure and to compliance with the provisions of the statutory regulations on data protection.

Encrypted and unencrypted transmission

All the data input by you on our sites are transmitted to us encrypted, with means that they are protected against insight by third parties. This even applies if you access the site unencrypted (per http protocol), the reply to such an unencrypted access already being encrypted.
Nevertheless, please do not send us any sensitive or secret information via our web appearance.

Contact form

If you send us data on your person via the contract form (e.g. your e-mail address, name or telephone number), we will use these data exclusively for replying to your inquiry. To the extent that you request a call back, we shall use your telephone number exclusively for this call. Following final processing of your contact, we shall delete the data transmitted by you for this purpose, insofar as they are not needed for the subsequent activities requested by you.

Automatic recording, storage and processing of non-personal data

In the use of our internet sites, the following data are stored at each access for organisational and technical reasons:
names of sites accessed
name of the browser used
if applicable, monitor resolution name and, if applicable, version of your operating system
date and time of the access
if applicable, the linking site via which you have reached our site (e.g. a search engine)
names of downloaded files
We evaluate these technical data anonymously and merely for statistical purposes in order to be able to further optimise our internet appearance and to make our internet offers even more attractive. These anonymous data are stored separate from personal information on secured systems in Germany and do not permit conclusion about an individual person. Your personal data and your private sphere are therefore protected at any time.
These anonymous data are deleted as required without complying with a certain deletion period.

Piwik

For recording and evaluation of your user conduct, we use the piwik software, which has been configured according to the recommendations of the Independent State Centre For Data Protection In Schleswig-Holstein (Uld).
We operate piwik on the same server on which our homepage is also operated, so no data on your user conduct is transmitted to third parties.
Piwik uses cookies (see further down, “Cookies” section). The information stored in the cookie is used in order to be able to recognise you again when you visit us next time. If you do not want to be recognised, you can delete the cookies which we have set at any time. You can naturally contradict recording and evaluation of your user conduct and the setting of cookies at any time by removing the tick in the matching declaration of approval at the top of this page. As an alternative, you can activate “Do Not Track“ in your browser. Please remember that the contradiction of the evaluation of the surfing conduct is also stored in a cookie. If you delete the cookies set by us, you must contradict again.

Cookies

When you visit our website, it is possible that information is stored on your computer in the form of cookies. Cookies are small text files which are sent to your browser by a web server and are stored on your computer’s hard disk. In this context, no kind of personal data about the user are stored, but merely a pseudonym created specifically for you. For example, this information serves to recognise you again automatically when you come back to our website next time and to facilitate navigation for you.

Children and juveniles under 18

People under 18 should not transmit any personal data to us without consent from a parent or guardian. We do not request personal data from children and juveniles, do not collect them and do not forward them to third parties.

Security

We have taken technical and organisational safety measures in order to protect your personal data against loss, destruction, manipulation and unauthorised access. All employees and all third parties involved in data processing have been obligated to the data protection laws and confidential dealing with personal data.
In the event of online recording and processing of personal data, the information is transmitted in an encrypted form (by SSL / https) in order to prevent misuse of the data by third parties. The safety measures are permanently reviewed in accordance with technological development.

Transmission of personal data to third countries outside the EU

Within the framework of our internet appearance, we do not transmit any kind of personal data to third states. The location of all the servers operated and used by us in this context is Germany.

Change to the data protection directives

We reserve the right to change the safety and data protection measures at any time, in particular to the extent that this becomes necessary as a reason of technical development. In these cases, we shall also adapt this information on data protection if necessary. Therefore, please always observe the current version of this data protection declaration.
